Welcome to the Smackjeeves Wiki!
This Wiki has been compiled by several members of the Smackjeeves community in an effort to provide a fairly comprehensive Guide for as many standard Smackjeeves questions as possible. It is, of course, impossible to provide answers for every conceivable query, but by combining years of frequently asked questions into one easy to navigate Wiki, we hope to alleviate the stresses of the average user.

If you have a question that has not been answered within, simply head over to the Smackjeeves Forums and post a new thread in New Questions. Make a descriptive title, and flesh out all the details of the issue you are having. Provide any links, code or screenshots you think will help us do our jobs.

For now, editing the pages that are currently here is restricted to only Administrators. This is a result of some spam attacks, and will certainly be alleviated to some degree in the future. If you have an edit you wish to make, a page you want added or a question you think deserves a position, then please Private MessageGranmastern

Please follow this process when lodging new questions:

1. Do a forum search using keywords related to your issue. Try to be as thorough as possible. If you cannot find your issue, move onto the next step, however if you find your issue read the accompanying answer. If no answer has been posted, reply only to that thread, stating that you have the same issue.
2. If you have searched the forums and this FAQ thoroughly, and still come up with no answers to your question, post a new thread in the appropriate forum.
   • Make sure your thread title is specific and concise. Unhelpful titles, such as "HALP PLZ" or "URGENT HELP" may be ignored outright.
   • Include as much detail as you can when describing the issue you are having. Present any code, images or screenshots that may be able to help us in working out your problem. Not doing so simply results in a longer delay as we are forced to ask you for these assets further down the track.
   • Be polite and patient with the answerers. This is not their job, they are not being paid, and many have busy lives outside of this website. Answerers also cannot read your mind, see your control panels or access your settings, so be patient while they try and replicate the error you are having. Ignorant, unintelligible or downright abusive users will be looked over; so keep your arrogance to yourself, your writing in clear English, and your melodrama elsewhere.
